He was predeceased by: his wife Freda L. Vereen; and his sister Jean C. Flowers. He is survived by: his children, Johnnie J. Vereen Jr. of Bethlehem, Tamara L. Denby (Arnett) of Bethlehem and Kimberley M. Vereen of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Timia, Arnett Jr., Erin and Derrick; his nephew Ronald Flowers; his nieces, Sandra Vereen, Stephanie Flowers, Maria Robinson and Yolanda Flowers; his mother-in-law Ruby Leatherberry; and his siblings-in-law, Deborah Brooks, Vicky Lymon, Robert Leatherberry and Duane Leatherberry. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and bonus children and grandchildren.
