He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Violett and Bertha Violett (Johnson); his spouse Deneen P. Violett (Stromberg); his daughter Kathryn Violett; and his brothers, Robert, Art and Ed.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Irene), Jeffrey (Patricia), David (David), Thomas (Adrianne), Daniel (Jirehly) and Michael (Olga); his grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Sarah, Paul, Rachael, Samuel, Inga and Sven; his great grandchildren, Cayden and Daniel; and his siblings, William Violett and Dorothy Violett.
