Kathleen M. Shamenek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen M. Shamenek of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Thomas Shamenek; her parents, Walter Charles Erich and Carmela Erich (Passafiume); and her brother William Erich. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer L. Kresge (Randall) of Pottstown, PA; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Kresge; her siblings-in-law, Karen Metzger (Richard), Mary Lou Chicote (Al) and Louis Shamenek (Karen); and her sisters, Sara Kratzer (Alan) and Frances Kiefer. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pocono Lake Methodist Church (1188 PA-940, Pocono Lake, PA 18347). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
