She was predeceased by: her husband William A. Burkit; her parents, James Aides and Lelia Hushen (Clark); and her sons, Edward W. and Nathan A. Burkit.
She is survived by: her son Mark A. Burkit (Lynn) of Danielsville; and her stepbrothers, Tom Aides (Jackie) and James Aides, Jr.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
