He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Young (Stoudt); and his sister Mary Ann Kemmerer. He is survived by: his father Kenneth W. Young of Bethlehem; his sons, Joshua (Cassandra) of Bethlehem and Matthew of Bethlehem; his sister Pauline Kalynych (Paul) of Bethlehem; and his grandchildren, Kensley, Noah and Wyatt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
