He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hay and Ellen Hay (Ruth). He is survived by: his wife Carole P. (Politi); his children, Scott Hay (Sandy) of Putnam Station, NY and Tracy Hay Bell (Andrew J. Bell) of Bethlehem; his sisters, Marie Eshbach (Truman) of Bethlehem and Kathryn Grube of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Jessica M. Staats, Adam J. Staats (Jennifer), Zachary A. Hay (Kristin), Joshua S. Hay and Amanda Wrona; his great grandchildren, Giovanna Bannon, Aubrey Dunlap, Elise Hay-Roma and Laurel Hay-Roma; and his nephews, Bell, Nolte and Pearce.
