It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura D. Johnson of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Rhett Hepler; her stepfather Wilbur F. Herwig Sr.; her niece Amanda Hovermale; and her pets, Desi, Little Ricky, Lucy and Gable.
She is survived by: her mother Frances L. Herwig; her husband James R. Johnson III; her children, Sharon Piner (Ryan Wolf), Shawn Piner (Berline) and Joshua Piner (Amanda); her grandchildren, Daniel Bull, Athena Piner and Braddox Piner; her pets, Lyndon Bean and Emmitt; her siblings, Cathy (Shawn), Mary, Sandy, Donald and Jonathan; her nephew Erich Hepler; Sabrina Albright (Chris). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
