She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia M. Dowden. She is survived by: her children, Tracy A. Barrett and Michael T. Barrett of Woodhaven, NY; her siblings, Derrick Dowding of Oakland, CA and Sheila Ramsey of Rockaway Park, NY; her grandchildren, Shahiem, Sr., Amani, Zaire, Sharif, Sharifah, Reina and Niko; and her great grandchildren, Kay'lani, Amir and Shahiem, Jr.. She is also survived by 3 nephews and 7 nieces.
