He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Verastegui and Maria Victoria Paredes. He is survived by: his daughters, Loretta, Erica (German), Jessica, Lori and Lisa; his sister Ida; and his grandchildren, Amiliya, Isabella, Jesus, Luis, Jose Martin Jr. and Giovanni. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
