He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Mewshaw and Geraldine Mewshaw; his brother-in-law Barney Singleton; his nephew Christopher Korbet; and his great-niece Rowan Grace.
He is survived by: his daughter Rosemary Ray Jimenez (Luis); his grandchildren, Adrian Dixson, Soren and Lillian Oihus; his siblings, Judith Maisey, Mary Mewshaw Singleton, Deborah Stribling (Joseph), Charles Mewshaw Jr. (Geoff Lindstrom) and Michael Mewshaw (Joy Ann Comfort); and his children, Mark, Sarah and Katherine. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and nephews.
