With sadness, we share the passing of Nilda Velasquez (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania). Nilda, born on July 9, 1957, passed away on June 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ismael Bermudez and Barbara Zayas (Maldonado); her husband Modesto Velasquez; and her brother Jorge B. Maldonado. She is survived by: her daughters, Marisol Salas of Philadelphia, Jessica Rivera (Jose) of Palmer Township, Beatriz Pena of Bethlehem, Raquel Maldonado and Cristina Rodriguez of Freeland, PA; and her brothers, Jose Maldonado of Bloomfield, NJ, Ismael of Freeland, PA and Israel Bermudez of Freeland, PA. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
