It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octavia May McConnell of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, born in Slatington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter F. McConnell Sr.; her parents, Arthur Reph and Mabel Reph; her son Walter F. McConnell, Jr.; and her siblings, Eugene, Renae, Donald and Betty Lou.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lee Ann Frable (Bob) of Patton, PA, Jean Ann Maurer (Michael) of Powhatan, VA, Reana Anderko (Tom) of Bethlehem, PA and Annette McConnell of Stuyvesant, NY; her daughter-in-law Leona McConnell of Lititz, PA; her son Stephen McConnell (Brenda) of Patton, PA; her siblings, Arthur Reph (Madeline) of Cherryville, PA, Kenny Reph (Eunice) of Surprise, AZ, Robert Reph of Bethlehem and Geraldine Wentz of Northampton, PA; and her grandchildren, Michelle Kukk, Scott McConnell, Declan McCullagh, Michael Maurer, Jr., Belinda Byrne, Deidre McCullagh-Ford, Revé Anderko-Vorsky, Stephen McConnell II and Emily McConnell.
