He was predeceased by: his parents, Eston Deily and Emily Deily (Kichline); his sisters, Virginia Weil, Millicent Krier and Georgianna Xander; and his grandson Douglas Briody.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Deily (Ritter); and his sons, Richard E. Deily, Jr. (Mary) of Northampton and Thomas Deily (Celeste) of Alburtis. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
