He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn H. Hess (Correll) and Norman R. Hess Sr.; and his siblings, Norman R. Hess, Jr. and Francis A. Kisthardt. He is survived by: his brother William L. Hess of Bethlehem; his daughters, Opal Dunlap (Jason Dunlap) of Cresco, PA and Alison Krock of Roseto; and his grandchildren, Adison Dunlap and Jacob Krock Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
