He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schalles and Doretta Schalles (Kishbaugh); and his siblings, John, Rodney, Joyce, Clara Mae and Mary Ann.
He is survived by: his wife Concetta "Connie" Schalles (Cordora); his children, Robert J. of Bethlehem and Stefanie Dwyer (Stephen) of Collegeville; and his siblings, Craig of Bloomsburg, Madelyn Williams of Signal Mountain, TN and Ethel Balliet of Bloomsburg.
