She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Fiona Ruby Beresford and Francis Bruce Cook; and her husband Arthur "Joel" Katz. She is survived by: her son Justin Mascio (Becky) of Hellertown, PA; her stepchildren, Jillian Pierson of Pasadena, CA and Noel Katz of Huntington Beach, CA; her brothers, Andrew Bain (Yuko), Douglas Bain and Scott Bain; her grandchildren, Taite, Quinn Pierson, Adelaide Katz, Jackson, Oliver and Isabella Mascio; her niece Momo Watanabe (Harry); and her nephews, Jeremy Nelson (Michal) and Seth Nelson (Susie).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to National Park Foundation in Susan's honor.
