With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan T. Hamill of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James J. Hamill; her parents, Salvatore Mannino and Fillipia Mannino (Buffa); and her granddaughters, Colleen Gallagher and Kimberly Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Gallagher (Peter) of East Stroudsburg, James Hamill (Debbie) of Henryville, John Hamill (Antonina) of Stroudsburg, Thomas Hamill (Chrissy) of Schnecksville, Joseph Hamill of Kunkletown, Valerie Piacentini (Dean) of Bethlehem and Pete Hamill (Chastity) of Mt. Pocono; her grandchildren, Daniel Gallagher, Jerry Gallagher, Thomas Gallagher, Debra Hamill, Brian Hamill, Christina Hamill, James Hamill, Jennifer Hamill, Chelsea Hamill, Brittany Hamill, Julia Hamill, Casey Piacentini, Molly Piacentini, Peter Hamill and Morgan Hamill; her great grandchildren, Maggy, Reese, Dominic, Connor, Natalie, Bethany, Henry, Cameron, Alia, Ethan and Jesse; and her brother Joseph Mannino (Ann) of Connecticut. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville and was in charge of the RSVP Sr. Citizen tax program.
In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Our Lady of Victory Church.
