It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommie J. McDonald of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Hilliard and Mae Beulah Hilliard (Allen); her son Rodney H. McDonald; and her siblings, Charles Hilliard, Johnny James Hilliard, Harvey Lee Hilliard, Ed Willie Hilliard, Mary Alice Hilliard, Mamie Catherine Williams, Minnie Mae Smith, Christine Brown and Marjorie Chandler.
She is survived by: her son Jonafer H. McDonald (Carla "Cookie"); her grandchildren, Jonafer C. McDonald, Jazmyn McDonald, Lauren McDonald, Oraine Thomas and Jennelle Hallinan; her great grandchildren, Lianah, Kamrin and Jordyn; and her sister Lois Harrison.
