He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Reuben Buffington and Mary Elizabeth Buffington (Burkett); his wife Peggy; his son Larry Buffington; and his brother Donald Buffington.
He is survived by: his son Lynn Buffington (Sandy) of Big Run; his daughter-in-law Kathy Buffington of Glen Campbell; his grandchildren, Brandi Buffington, Jennifer Buffington and Harley Buffington (Heather); his great grandchildren, Brycen, Riley, Hadleigh, Jenson and Jake; and his siblings, Mary Lou Hill of Big Run, Norma Jean "Jeanne" of DuBois, John Buffington of Mahaffey and Jack Buffington of Big Run.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc. (107 W Main St, Big Run, PA 15715). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
