It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy I. Shaffer of Biglerville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George McGlaughlin and Ethel McGlaughlin (Warren); her granddaughter Natasha Redding; her son-in-law Ken Morrow; and her sister-in-law Jan McGlaughlin.
She is survived by: her husband Donald G. Shaffer; her children, Kathy Morrow of Biglerville, Wayne Shaffer of Biglerville and Kay Redding (Donald) of Biglerville; her grandchildren, Matthew Morrow (Jen), Micah Morrow (Bekah), Aimee Worth (Cameron), Michael Shaffer (Christina), Ryan Shaffer (April) and Cody Redding; her siblings, Eugene McGlaughlin (Maysie) of Biglerville, James McGlaughlin (Margy Topper) of Gettysburg and Wanda Sheaffer (Garry) of Gettysburg; and also Peter Yannotta. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dugan Funeral Home, Inc. (111 S Main St, Biglerville, PA 17306). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
