He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert John and Gladys Bernice Gobel (Griffith); and his children, Anita Gay Gobel and George Keith Gobel. He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Gobel (Glass) of Biglerville; his daughters, Lisa Gayle Gobel of Biglerville and Pamela Jan Kerbe (Robert) of Manchester, MD; his grandchildren, Jessica (Tim Rohrer) of Elizabethtown, Daniel McLucas (Emily) of Gettysburg, Elizabeth (Greg Gartside) of Manchester, MD, Robert Kerbe (Layne) of Glen Rock and Grace (Andrew Burdette) of Sykesville, MD; his siblings, Joyce Sachs of Maryland, Albert Gobel, Jr. of Connecticut, Brenda Henson of Maryland and Donna Jean Pinkerton of Kentucky; and his daughter-in-law Robin Gobel. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
