He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Johnston and Doris Johnston (Schulenburg); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Jane Johnston (Tuckey); his children, Keary Johnston (Paul Smeck) of Maine, John Johnston of York, Matthew Johnston of Allentown and Danielle Goodman (Michael) of Fredrick, MD; his grandchildren, Kathleen, Nicholas, Sydney, Aidan, Michaela, Sara and Evalyn; and his sister Kathy Johnston of Oregon.
