She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Schaeffer and Ellen Schaeffer (Trout); her husband Harry James Smith; her daughter Sue Ann Lattanzio (late Patrick); and her siblings, Charles W. Schaeffer, Jr. and Louise Moore.
She is survived by: her daughter Jo Ellen Creitz (Walter, III); her grandchildren, Nicholas Lattanzio (Jena), Lukas Lattanzio, Jennifer Lyn Breitenstein and Jodi Breitenstein; her great grandchildren, Trent, Codie Brickel, Landon Rickert, Dominic, Caroline, Julia and Victor Lattanzio; her great great grandchild Celine Rickert; and her nephew Michael Boettlin. She is also survived by 11 nephews and 6 nieces.
