She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Hafer and Clara Hafer (Gilbert); her spouse Lynnwood W. Hess; her daughter Lynette Downey; and her brother Harold Hafer.
She is survived by: her son Leonard L. Hess (Linda) of Robeson Twp; and her grandson Col. Douglas Downey.
