He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Harold Davis Winings and Florence E. Winings (Hufman). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Winings (Haupt); his children, Cynthia E. Winings, Katharine W. Vincent and Richard H. Winings; and his siblings, Gene Winings, Elaine Riehl and Esther Wichlacz. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
