She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles O. Fick and Carrie Fick (George); her former life partner Ralph J. Rutt; her husband Stanley J. Pipala; her close friend Harvey "Gick" Sheetz; her siblings, Leroy, Lester, Harold, Charles, Frederick, Pauline and Arthur; and her grandson Jeremy Rutt.

She is survived by : her children, Dennis L. Rutt, Shirley A. Moore (Richard), Deborah A. Katzaman (late David B.) and Louise A. Thomas; her siblings, Warren Fick, Pearl Casantini, Stella Krauthauser and Maryann Burkevage; and her grandchildren, Kristen, Christina, Anthony, Timothy and Tommy.
