He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin S. Geyer and Beulah F. Geyer (Painter); his daughter Marjorie Oxenford; his siblings, Richard, Edwin Geyer, Jean Zeller and Nancy Rothharpt; his grandson Kevin Diefenderfer; and his son-in-law Charles Oxenford, II.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy L. Diefenderfer (Eugene) and Thomas F. Geyer (Lois); and his grandchildren, Jason Diefenderfer, Olivia Mitchell, Margaret Murry, April McAlpin and Charles Oxenford, III. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
