She was predeceased by: her mother Jane McGinity (Holby); her stepfather Frank "Fritz" McGinity; and her great grandchildren, Beau Glance and Ava Smith. She is survived by: her husband James E. Smith; her children, Brad Smith (Deb), Brenda Butterbaugh (Scott) and Bart Smith (Tama) of Torrance, PA; and her grandchildren, Kevin Smith (Kara Goss), Becca Miloser (Jason), Doug Smith, Brian Butterbaugh (Asjylyn), Ashley Glance (Cody) and Jesse Smith. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
