He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude E. Shaffer and Lila Shaffer; his siblings, John, Clarence, James, Thomas Shaffer and Dorothy Gima; and his siblings-in-law, James Griffith and Shirley Hoover (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Anita Shaffer; his son Ronald Jasper; his daughter-in-law Paula Jasper; his grandchildren, Kayla Ackerman (Scott) and Austin Jasper (Natalie); his sisters, Sally Lydic, Mary Lazor and Jean Uber; and his brother-in-law John Griffith (Mary Jane).
