He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond McElhoes and Esther McElhoes (Mock); his wife Patricia M. McElhoes; his brothers, Clark Dennis McElhoes and George R. McElhoes; and his sister-in-law Margaret "Peggy" McElhoes.
He is survived by: his brother John "Jack" McElhoes of Bradenville, PA; and his pet Grump. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ferguson Funeral Home (25 W Market St, Blairsville, PA 15717). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
