She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Matulavich and Nellie Pashukonis Matulavich; and her siblings, Joseph Matulavich and Dorothy Hatfield. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Susan Carling (Walter), William Rempe (Denise), Sandy Kramer (Brooke), Patti Mazzie (Frank) and Dr. Matt Soulsby; her grandchildren, Melissa, Kati, Ryan, Ashley, Patrick, Sara, Jenna, Lexi and Logan; and her sisters, Barbara Evans and Helen Raymond. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc. (1030 N Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18508). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (1101 Willow St, Peckville, PA 18452).
