We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2025, at the age of 93, Julia Colonna Banas (Blakely, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Julia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Julia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Colonna and Theresa Belletieri Colonna; her siblings, Anthony Colonna (Betty), Catherine Sellitto (Al) and Marie Kurovsky (Andy); and her husband Bernard.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard Banas Jr. (Lisa) of Harveys Lake and Juliette Farrell of Pittsburgh, PA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
