He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Barrett; his parents, Michael Peregrim and Mary Peregrim; and his siblings, Jane Ligosh, Anne Peregrim, Elizabeth Derco, Mildred Juris, Walter and John Peregrim.

He is survived by: his caregivers, Nancy and Jonathan; his son Michael J., III; and his daughter-in-law Nancy of Blakely. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
