It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard A. Dietrich of Blandon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Dietrich and Agnes R. Dietrich (Kramer); his grandson Zachary D. Nemeth; and his siblings, Barry E. Dietrich and Shirley A. Shepherd.
He is survived by: his wife Essie (Gilbert); his children, Donna L. Fick (Kenneth L. Fick), Dawn L. Nemeth (Douglas E. Nemeth), Diane L. Miller (David S. Miller), Dale A. Dietrich (Debra S.) and Dean E. Dietrich (Donna A.); his grandchildren, Nikki, Matthew (Rachel), Seth (Lindsey), Tiffany (Jose), Meghan (Jeff), Chris (Jenny), Trevor, Ian (Anna), Andrew (Jenny Rose), Andrea (Andrew), Danielle (John) and Brandon (Miranda); his great grandchildren, Gracyn, Grant, Rowan, Keegan, Avery, Mila, Evan, Noah, Gavin, Evie, Benjamin, Millie, Daniel, Baby Miller, Forrest, Phoenix, Charlie, Leila and Jeanne; and his sister-in-law Shirley Dietrich.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory (14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Berks County Memorial Gardens (201 Evansville Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522).
