He was predeceased by: his parents, John Layos and Evelyn Layos (Richendrfer); his former wife Marie D. Dershem; and his siblings, Kenneth Layos and Anna Mae Layos.
He is survived by: his daughters, Meredith (Thomas Arnold) of Mifflinville and Madeline; his spouse Kurt Schuster of Milton; and his grandsons, Garrett Arnold (Amber Kocher) of Mifflinville and Alex Arnold of Mifflinville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Elan Memorial Park (5595 Old Berwick Rd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815).
