It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Hummel of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hummel and Gertrude Hummel (Fink); and his brother Dale Hummel. He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Hornberger (Carl) of Berwick, Debora Hummel of Coal Township and Gerald Hummel (Robert Harding) of Berwick. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews, five great-nieces and nephews and twelve great-great-nieces and nephews.
