With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Thompson of Blossburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Thompson and Mary Lou Thompson (Levanowitz); and his brother Todd Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Annette M. Thompson (Wood); his sons, David Thompson (April) of Blossburg, PA and Steven Thompson (Linda) of Blossburg, PA; his grandchildren, Kylah Thompson (Stephanie), Brady Thompson, Kail Thompson, Mason Thompson and Maddalyn Thompson; his siblings, Doug Thompson of Waymart, PA, Judy Shaffer of Waymart, PA, Tammy Faulkner (Aaron) of Mansfield, PA, Nicola Scavello (Frank) of Mt. Pocono, PA and Heidi Jenkins (Dan) of Mansfield, PA; and his stepfather David Minor of Waymart, PA..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. (637 S Main St, Mansfield, PA 16933). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
