He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hooven and Elizabeth Hooven. He is survived by: his wife Eleanore; his daughter Jenna (Stu); and his siblings, Mary, John "Jack" (Jane) and Joseph (Helene). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
