She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin L. Ehret and Mabel S. Ehret (Brown); and her siblings, Julie, Edna, Shirley, Doris, Edwin, James, Robert and Harold.
She is survived by: her aunts, Gladys (Sis) and Sis (Skinny); her husband Joseph Patrick Harkins Sr.; her children, Tammy Klotz and Joseph Patrick Harkins Jr. (Donna); her grandchildren, Samantha Gabbard (David), Erin Klotz, Madison Kemmerer, Jaden Kemmerer and Kayla Kemmerer; her goddaughters, Melissa Bowers and Eileen Dillman; and her family, Punky, Sheila, Betty and Joan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gladys' memory to the Sunshine Foundation – Make Lillian's Dream Come True — a tribute that beautifully reflects Gladys' lifelong love of sunshine, children, and the joy she found in caring for others.
