It is with sadness that the passing of James J. Harrington of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania is shared. James, born on January 19, 1936, passed away on September 26, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James J. Harrington to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harrington and Nora Harrington (Bennet); his sons, James J. Harrington, Jr. and Stephen Harrington; and his siblings, John Harrington, Patricia McAllister (Robert) and Robert Harrington (Barbara).
He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Brown; his daughter Sue Ellen Shelak (Matthew); his daughter-in-law Kate Harrington; his brothers, Clark Harrington (Marlene) and Roger Harrington (Veronica); and his sister-in-law Eileen Harrington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Eleanor's RC Church (647 Locust St, Collegeville, PA 19426). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
