He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. McCarty and Anne McCarty (Santarchangelo). He is survived by: his wife Linda Filippone; and his brother James J. McCarty (Evelyn) of Titusville, FL. He is also survived by 5 nieces, 1 great niece and 2 great nephews.
