He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Kornblatt and Adele Kornblatt; and his sisters, Sue Kornblatt and Janet Kornblatt. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Kornblatt; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Eleni Kornblatt; his daughter Emily; his son-in-law Peter Constantinidis; and his grandchildren, Alexander Kornblatt, Lukas Kornblatt, Sofia Constantinidis and Leo Constantinidis. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Planetary Society, a tribute to Jay's lifelong curiosity, love of learning, and appreciation for scientific discovery.
