William A. Bubnis passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025 with his family by his side. He was 94 years old, born on February 26, 1931 to the late William and Isabelle (Sakovich) Bubnis.
William was a veteran and served during the Korean conflict in the US Army before finishing his service as a member of the US National Guard. Post service, he spent his working life as a Mechanical Engineer for Leeds & Northrup. When he was not working, he spent 20 years as a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and was a charter member of the Knight of Columbus in Lansdale PA and Punta Gorda, Florida. He was also a member of the American Legion 0234 and enjoyed playing the piano, fishing.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Angela M. (Mandes) Bubnis; children Teresa Bubnis, Angela Bridi (David), William Bubnis (Tamara); grandchildren Anthony Cribari, Christina Cribari-Robb (Kyle), Brittany Yoder (Ethan), Dominic Bridi, Ryan Bubnis and Aubrey Bubnis; great-grandchildren Zane Cribari, Cassandra Robb, and Jolene Yoder; siblings Arlene Mumbauer and Eugene Bubnis and Sisters in-law Adele Gamble and Jackie Hansen and many other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Dante and Adeline Mandes and Tony Cribari (son-in-law).
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill’s life on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Holiday Inn in Kulpsville from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m.
