He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew O'Toole and Elizabeth O'Toole; his wife Janice Lee O'Toole; and his brother Robert O'Toole. He is survived by: his children, Lori Merritt (Keith), Christopher O'Toole (Melissa) and Tara O'Toole; his grandchildren, Keith, Jr., Paige, Madison, Gavin, Caitlyn and Colin; his siblings, Catherine Allison (Richard), Margaret Roth (Jon) and James O'Toole (Nancy); and his close friend Peggy Gourlay.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
