He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Anthony and Ruth Ida Knott (Daywalt); his siblings, Beulah Portner, Dorothy Condon, Charles Knott, Merle Knott, Richard Knott, Margaret Timmerman and John Knott; his son David Knott; and his former wife Doris Knott (Kauffman).
He is survived by: his wife C. Elaine Knott; his children, Douglas "Doug" Knott (Shari) of Wolfsville, MD, Anthony "Tony" Knott of Waynesboro, PA and Karen "Sue" Parks (Daryl) of Waynesboro, PA; and his sisters, Ruth Knott of Thurmont, MD and Rose Keepers of Fairfield, PA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
