She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bierer and Blanche Bierer (Taylor); her husband Stanley J. Ference, Jr.; her former husband Stephen Shuppe; her siblings, Ernest, Thomas Bierer, Lenora Wolfe, Olive Reeder, Margaret Vincie, Loretta Beward and Judy M. Mathews; and her stepbrothers, Hoy, Eugene and Raymond Reeder.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Mefford (David) of Westover, WV, Steve Shuppe of Dilliner, Sue Hall (Jim) of Dilliner and Michael Ference of Waynesburg; and her grandchildren, Erica Barnett (Bobby), Stacey Fox (Calvin), Dianna Jackson (Vaughn), Steph Utzman (Logan), Jimmy Hall, Amy Yakubik, Steven Shuppe (Jenn), Jessica Shuppe, Travis Shuppe and Nicole Logan. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
