He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Cumpston and Helen Cumpston (Hewitt); his wife Carol A. (McDowell); his children, Laura Blasko (Todd) of Bobtown and William Cumpston, Jr. of Bobtown; his grandson Aiden Blasko of Bobtown; his siblings, Grace Brown of Greensboro and Dennis Cumpston (Sherri) of Morgantown; his siblings-in-law, Virginia Cumpston of Mapletown and Ronald McDowell (Lynn); his siblings, Helen Petak, Shirley Hegedis, Judith Sweeney, Thomas and Robert Cumpston; his sisters-in-law, Susan Cumpston and Mildred Ritenour; and his parents-in-law, Harry and Miriam McDowell. He was also cherished by fathers and grandfather, he was proud of all his kids.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paul M. Lesako Funeral Home, Inc. (204 Dowlin Ave, Carmichaels, PA 15320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 100 Stoney Hill Rd, Greensboro, PA 15338.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
