It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldene G. Smith of Bolivar, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eldene G. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Emerson and Matilda Foust (McClarren); her husbands, William "Snuffy" Smith and Clifford Shiley; her grandson Shawn Carota; her siblings, Emerson, Doris, Arnold, Roe, Leslie and Earl Foust; and her stepchildren, Sherry Kaufman and Eugene Shiley.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Pikovski (Norbert), Marty Smith (Sherlene), Leta Brendlinger (Gary), Rodney Smith, Robin Smith (Dona) and Nadene Peters (Dave); her stepchildren, Elaine Doell, Anita Wertheimer (Charlie) and Clifford Shiley (Lu Ann); her grandchildren, Tammy Carota Hall, Christine Duling (Mark), Doug Smith (Sherri), Deanna Gmys (Mike), Shannon Sobota (Eddie), Garet Brendlinger (Noel), Corryn Smith, Malorie Smith, Delaney Smith, Jeremy Smith (Matthew), Chad Smith (Jamie), Josie Smith, Jordan Peters (Kristen) and Jake Peters; her siblings, Paul Foust (Donna) and Kathy Kinard (Ron); and her adoptive daughter Nancy Robinson. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, and several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
