James Dwayne left this world on July 14, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his mother Leanna Penrose; his wife Patricia Penrose; his father Fred Penrose; and his sister Carole Ludwig. He is survived by: his daughter Jill Penrose-Smith; his son-in-law Michael Smith; his grandsons, Mitchell and Spencer Smith; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Kerri Penrose; his grandsons, Tyler and Braeden Penrose; his brother Don Penrose; his niece Debbie Dunlap; his sister Sharon (Randy Bartlebaugh); and his nephew John Bartlebaugh. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Kenneth Stuart Funeral Home (139 N Ligonier St, New Florence, PA 15944). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Florence United Methodist Church (196 9th St, New Florence, PA 15944).
