She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Richards and Catherine Richards (Ewasko); her son Steven Dougherty; and her siblings, Carl Richards and Helen Moyer.
She is survived by: her husband Edward J. Dougherty; her children, Sean Dougherty (Michele), Michael Dougherty (Chris), Karen Murray (Peter) and Meghan Saulin; her son-in-law Robert Saulin; her sister Elsie McKee; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Brendan, Robert, Michael, Daniel, Isabelle and Wren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
